At Snoqualmie Valley Eyecare Associates, we believe strongly in giving back to the community and caring for the eyes of all those in need. Outreach programs represent an opportunity to show the community the level of commitment our optometrists have to their community. That is why we have partnered with organizations like Snoqualmie Schools Foundation , Encompass and Mount Si Lion’s Club.
Snoqualmie Valley Eyecare Associates is an eyeglass collection site for Lion’s Club. These donated glasses are repaired, cleaned, cataloged and reused. We collect hundreds of pairs of glasses a year from our caring patients.
In addition, Dr. Duvall has traveled to third world countries with AMIGOS and Central American Lutheran Mission Services (CALMS) in order to bring vision and medical eye care services to patients in Mexico and Guatemala. In 2016 Dr. Duvall will travel to the Congo with other physicians and medical specialists as part of the Paul Carlson Partnership to help re-establish vision and cataract services.
In April 2009, Dr. Dale joined Global Health Outreach (a division of the Christian Medical and Dental Association) and IMA-Missions to take a mission trip to perform cataract surgery in Cancun, Mexico. Here at home, Dr. Dale participates in Eye Care America, a public service program of the Foundation of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, provides eye care at no out -of-pocket cost to those who qualify.
Snoqulamie Valley Eyecare also partners with Project Access Northwest, which helps connect patients referred from safety net medical care providers with needed specialty medical care.
