Dr. Aleksandra "Ola" Nowakowska was born and raised in Grand Blanc, MI. Dr. Nowakowska graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Psychology. She went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Michigan College of Optometry in Big Rapids, MI. Dr. Nowakowska completed her training at Cherry Health- Community Health Center in Grand Rapids, MI, Michigan Eye Institute in Flint, MI, and at the Wyoming VA Health Center in Wyoming, MI.
Dr. Nowakowska has experience treating patients of all ages, from pediatric to more complex medical conditions. She is trained to treat a range of eye conditions from primary eye care, to emergency eye care, and contact lenses. She loves traveling with her husband, hiking with her dog, and skiing.
