Born and raised in Anchorage Alaska, Dr. Livingston has kept her Northwest roots and has been living and practicing in Western Washington for several years. She performed her undergraduate studies in Ohio at Bowling Green State University where she obtained her Bachelors of Science degree with focus in biology and medical sciences. She then obtained her Doctorate of Optometry at Southern California College of Optometry in 2010. During her time there, she completed externships at multiple locations including an Indian Health Services hospital, and rotated through both ophthalmology and optometry private practices. While studying at these locations, Dr. Livingston gained valuable experience in primary eye care, contact lenses, and ocular disease, including the diagnosis and management of chronic eye conditions such as glaucoma and diabetic eye care.
Dr. Livingston’s focus is providing primary and secondary comprehensive vision and medical eye care. She assists patients with vision needs for glasses and contacts, urgent and medical eye care ranging from acute injuries and infections to more chronic cases such as diabetic eye exams and dry eye. She loves practicing optometry as it gives her the opportunity partner with patients to provide the best ocular health and vision possible. She provides very personalized care by looking at each patient's visual and ocular needs and discussing various options along with their outcomes. Educating patients so they can make informed decisions about their eye health is a priority of hers.
Dr. Livingston lives in here the valley with her husband, son and dog. In her free time she enjoys getting outside, listening to her favorite podcasts, and eating great food!
